ARAI Publicizes 16th edition of Symposium on International Automotive Technology

Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) will organize 16th edition of
Symposium on International Automotive Technology (SIAT) will be hosted at from January 16 to 18, 2019 in Pune.
SIAT will be hosted in association with SAE International, SAE INDIA and NATRiP, ARAI said in a statement.
The focus will be on current advances in different automotive regions, such as safety, emissions, engines, noise, electric mobility, electronics, intelligent transportation, vehicle dynamics, materials, alternate fuels and simulation & modelling.
There will also be demonstration of light-weight bus designed by ARAI along vehicles with advanced technologies developed indigenously by ARAI on autonomous vehicles, battery technology, and intelligent vehicles.

Rashmi Urdhwareshe, Director, ARAI said, “The theme of SIAT 2019 is ‘Empowering Mobility – Safe & Intelligent Way’. Vehicle safety has long been an arena for breeding technological improvement and major advances are made by global organisations in passive safety to active safety to connected mobility, in both concept and technology. We hope to facilitate a knowledge-sharing platform for Indian manufacturers to inculcate such technology at the concept stage itself.”
SIAT 2019 will parallely host an exposition wherein various national and international exhibitors will showcase their latest and futuristic technologies in the regions like BS VI, vehicle safety / crash, electric mobility, vehicle telematics, NVH, simulation & modelling, etc.
